Charlie is fed up with her ex-boyfriend, Beau. He’s immature, lazy, and makes her feel worthless and desperate for any positive attention from him. So when she catches Beau cheating on her in their apartment, she decides she’s had enough.

The only problem is, the rental deposit was sent to Beau’s dad, Emerson Grant, because he was listed as the cosigner on the apartment. Charlie asks Beau to get her half of it from his dad for her, but Beau refuses because he hates his dad.

Charlie doesn’t know why Beau hates his dad and she’s never met him. But in order to get her half of the deposit, she has to get it from Emerson Grant herself.

Emerson Grant is loathed by his son. Mostly due to the fact that Emerson is a partial owner of a private sex club known as Salacious Players. Emerson wants to fix his relationship with his son, but he refuses to apologize for knowing what he wants and chasing after it.

Praise by Sara Cate: My Review

Praise by Sara Cate is a fantastic book one in a series I will definitely be reading in its entirety.

I absolutely loved both Charlie and Emerson, and their relationship felt natural and real.

Nothing was forced or rushed for the sake of adding extra smut scenes, which I always appreciate.

Sara Cate uses words and descriptions throughout every sex scene that are accurate to the way people actually talk about and describe sex, which keeps the reader engaged.

An absolute must for any good romance book in my personal opinion.

(No engorged swollen bratwurst here!)

I also really enjoyed reading about Charlie’s younger sister, who I thought really helped shape who Charlie is, as well as explain her relationship with her own father.

I really can’t say enough great things about Praise and can’t recommend it enough.

If you enjoy spicy romance books with a great story and loveable characters who feel real enough to “touch”, then Praise by Sara Cate should be your next read!
